Refunds

Write to hello@birthdayinternet.com any time before your letter is written, and we'll refund you in full. Your letter is written two days before your birthday morning, or about 12 hours after paying if you chose “as soon as it's ready” (about an hour if your birthday is that day), so a gift bought months ahead can be refunded for months.

Once we refund you, your gifts are cancelled: nothing more is made or sent, and your private link stops working.

Once your letter has been written, we can't offer a refund: your gifts have been made for you, and can't be given to anyone else.

If your birth details were entered wrongly, or there's a mistake in our calculation, we'll fix it for free.

If your gift doesn't arrive when we promised — within 48 hours of paying, or on the birthday morning you chose — write to us and we'll put it right, or refund you in full.
